Fine Tuner - Chromatic Tuner App Reviews

Well done

Nice, simple tuner

Simple, clean, effective

Not as accurate as Id like but it gets the metaphorical job done while managing to be aesthetically pleasing unlike similar tuning apps.

Useless

Useless unless you buy full app

Minimalist simplicity

Works great. Big, easy to read symbols. Multiple turnings if you need them. Only con is you have to manually change note for each string instead of the tuner sensing which note you are trying to tune. Other than that, a perfect little guitar tuner.

looks great works great / upgrade worth it

free version is great for standard guitar. $1.99 upgrade gives you everything youll ever need. drop d +++, ukulele, bass, banjo etc. not ugly at all either, unlike.... well every single other one out there

If Apple made a tuner

I use this for my ukulele. It surprised me how long I had to look before I found a decent and straightforward ukulele tuner. This is the one. I had to pay the $2 pro upgrade to get the ukulele tuning settings but it was worth it. This is the tuner youre looking for.

Thank you!

Recently got a 5string and cant keep it tuned to save my life. This app made it possible in less than five minutes. So grateful!

practically perfect

seriously, it is gorgeous, simple to use, and consistenty works. my only compliant is that i need to switch to auto-find the note every time i use the app ... not exactly a big hassle.

Beautiful

Simple and beautifully designed.

Simplicity

I love the design its simple but very useful so that I rate this a 5 star also bought the pro version! Keep doing it well team.

Free version only has 1 guitar setting

Does not accommodate other instruments as shown.

Gorgeous

Absolutely amazing little tuner. I love the UI and the multitude of different tunings is awesome as well. Maybe a future light option?

Junk

Dont bother downloading only 1 tuning is free everything else is locked. Why even offer this as free

Unnecessarily complicated.

For a "minimalistic tuner," this app certainly asks a lot from you. Rather than having a simple chromatic tuner interface, it has settings for various specific tunings, and makes you go string by string. Deleted it immediately.

Ugh

Would have been a great free app if you didnt have to pay to use it for the viola. Waste of time

So simple, it just may work...

Perfect tool for keeping multiple instruments sounding as they should...I have a banjo, cello, double bass, violin, viola, mandolin and guitar...works great for all applications.

Free version only good for guitar

Dont waste your time if youre looking for a free chromatic tuner.

Really good, a couple requests

I really like the simple, elegant design. Sometimes when I start the app, it seems to be playing audio through the speakers, a garbled version of what its hearing through the mic. If I reset the mic in the Settings, that goes away. I would love to see the full frequency of what Im playing. Telling me that D is "293.7hz" does me no good if I can only tune to 293 or 294. Id also love a 5-string violin/viola option: C-G-D-A-E since I play both instruments all the time. Finally, the ability to calibrate to 441, 442, etc. would be great. Thanks!

Every app should be like this.

No cutesy extra graphics, no ads, nothing but the app that does what it says, does it well, and for a fair price (to unlock alternate tunings). Perfection.

I dont like no clear developers

The free version actually is not chromatic, you can tune only in E standard.
